Submit Orders
On the order submit page the customer can view the cart content and select one of the registered shipping address. The customer can also specify a few optional things for the order:
- requested delivery date
- external PO number
- any additional note for the order
Order notifications
After submitting the order the following actions are initiated:
- the Carlstar sales team gets an order notification email with all order details plus a CSV file attachment for importing order data into the ERP.
- the customer also receives a confirmation email (without the CSV file)
- the order is stored in the B2B site’s database and appears in the account page under the Orders section
