Submit Orders

On the order submit page the customer can view the cart content and select one of the registered shipping address. The customer can also specify a few optional things for the order:

  • requested delivery date
  • external PO number
  • any additional note for the order

Order notifications

After submitting the order the following actions are initiated:

  • the Carlstar sales team gets an order notification email with all order details plus a CSV file attachment for importing order data into the ERP.
  • the customer also receives a confirmation email (without the CSV file)
  • the order is stored in the B2B site’s database and appears in the account page under the Orders section
